Job Summary
The Associate Account Director will be primarily responsible for supporting the Senior Account Director and/or Account Director on assigned projects for Woven Health Collective's Propel Business Unit. This includes assisting with creation of weekly status agenda, drafting action items, helping to manage day-to-day needs and requests of assigned clients, support in creating proposals and budgets, working closely with other departments including scientific, meetings, finance and editorial. This role also provides the opportunity to manage the medical/ legal review schedules and working with the entire scientific and project management team to meet these deadlines.
Job Responsibilities and Skills
- Assist with and/or lead assigned projects. Understand the Woven project management workflow and complete tasks on time.
- Understand how assigned projects contribute to clients' overall business.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and effectively prioritize, with guidance from manager. Demonstrate teamwork, initiative, and adaptability.
- Learn how project components are interconnected in order to proactively identify potential impact to timelines and workflow and develop solutions with the team
- Understand the key elements of clients' therapeutic areas.
- Draft proposals/budgets
- Partner with project management to create program timelines and distribute to the team
- Meet with team to review timelines and action items for the week
- Participate in and/or lead internal and client calls, as needed. Take notes and review with manager for alignment on next steps
- Prepare agendas for regular status calls and create status reports for clients on a weekly basis
- Partner with other departments (project management, editorial, scientific services, finance, meetings, technology) to ensure that all clients business needs are being met
- Partner with project management to lead weekly (or as necessary) team meetings
- Travel to client meetings and programs to oversee execution
- Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with clients, potential clients and key opinion leaders in the therapeutic area
- Assist in the development of Woven's strategy to successfully compete against other agencies
- Support with other responsibilities on other accounts as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Moderate to extensive travel will be required at times
- Desired Experience: 4+ years of medical communications account management experience or 4+ years of client management experience in related pharmaceutical/medical field
- Bachelor’s degree
- The ideal candidate will be an intelligent, quick, forward-looking thinker who is team-oriented, collegial, proactive, and predisposed to act as a trusted and confidential partner to clients and the internal team
- Ability to multi-task, be solution-oriented, and be highly organized is essential
- A sense of humor is considered an important quality as is a natural, optimistic attitude
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, as well as strong oral and written communication abilities. This person will be an exceptional listener who has the ability to relate to a wide variety of clients and adapt to their program needs
