Job Summary

Woven’s Strategy Team is looking for a Senior Associate – someone who is entrepreneurial-minded and passionate about working throughout the innovation process to bring new healthcare technologies and partnerships to life. As a Sr. Associate, you will be responsible for proactively support project delivery, researching and developing key deliverables and collateral for projects, supporting client and partner stakeholder relationships. This role will have very strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. It is critical for this role to be able to distill complex information into digestible presentations and insights that guide the solution strategy for clients.

Job Responsibilities and Skills

The Senior Associate plays a critical role in executing consulting projects, supporting client relationships, and driving business development efforts. This role blends research, strategic insight development, project facilitation, and deliverable creation to support high-impact innovation and growth initiatives for healthcare, life sciences, and digital health clients.

  • Project Delivery & Execution - Lead the execution of consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and strategic insights. Conduct research, analyze industry trends, and develop key insights to inform project strategies. Oversee day-to-day project activities, managing timelines, budgets, and workflows. Facilitate client meetings, interviews, and workshops, ensuring seamless project execution. Collaborate with Managers and Senior Managers to maintain alignment with client goals.
  • Project Quality & Strategic Execution - Develop compelling, well-structured deliverables, ensuring they meet Woven’s high standards. Use structured frameworks to create insightful recommendations and client-ready materials. Anticipate and proactively address project challenges before they escalate.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management - Serve as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, managing day-to-day communication. Support account growth by identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Business Development & Thought Leadership - Assist in lead generation, opportunity identification, and proposal development. Support Senior Managers in structuring and converting new revenue opportunities. Contribute to industry positioning through research, strategic insights, and external engagement.
  • Internal Leadership & Growth Initiatives - Mentor and develop junior team members, providing coaching on consulting best practices. Contribute to company-wide initiatives, process improvement, and capability-building efforts. Actively participate in internal culture and strategy initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA) in business, engineering, technology, healthcare, or related field preferred.
  • Consulting Experience: At least 3 years of experience or a proven track record of success in strategy consulting projects focused across healthcare, life sciences, and digital health companies.
  • Critical Thinking & Analytical Skills: Ability to break down complex problems, conduct research, structure qualitative and quantitative analysis, and develop viable solutions with supporting insights.
  • Execution & Results-Driven Approach: Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, results-orientation, and a sense of urgency, creativity, and flexibility in problem-solving and project execution.
  • Project & Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines while balancing independent work and collaborative team efforts to meet client needs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Professional competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed (anticipated up to 15%).
