Job Summary

The Business Development Director will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving the growth and success of our organization. This individual will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to expand our customer base and improve our market position.

Job Responsibilities and Skills

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnership opportunities and potential markets for expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry professionals, and strategic partners
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth targets and enhance market presence
  • Conduct market research to analyze customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales contracts to prospective clients
  • Negotiate and close agreements with potential clients, ensuring all necessary legal requirements are met
  • Monitor and analyze sales and business development activities, providing regular reports and updates to senior management
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
  • Use AI to optimize workflows

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Must have a proven track record of success (2+ years) in business development in the Learning Solutions space
  • Strong knowledge of market trends, industry developments, and competitor analysis
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a strategic mindset and a strong business acumen
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
