Job Summary

You are the behind-the-scenes powerhouse who keeps learning projects polished, organized, and moving without a wobble. As a Production Coordinator, you will jump into projects from the start and handle the critical production work that turns strong strategy into flawless execution. From prepping storyboards and translation documents to formatting files, organizing assets, conducting quality control checks, and readying deliverables for launch, you make sure every piece is clean, complete, and exactly where it needs to be.

You will work closely with Strategists, Writers, Designers, Developers, and Project Managers to keep the gears turning and the details locked down. Externally, your work helps ensure clients receive deliverables that feel seamless, thoughtful, and buttoned up. Internally, you serve as the production backbone of the team, bringing order to moving parts, catching issues before they become problems, and helping strengthen the workflows and standards that make great work possible.

Job Responsibilities and Skills

  • Provide production support across learning projects from kickoff through final delivery
  • Prepare, format, and organize project files across a range of deliverables, including storyboards, review documents, translation files, spreadsheets, presentation decks, and job aids
  • Conduct detailed quality control checks to identify formatting issues, inconsistencies, missing elements, and errors before files move to clients or the next phase of production
  • Prep storyboards and supporting documents so they are clean, organized, and development-ready
  • Prepare translation documents and support the management of translated content through review, revision, and handoff
  • Support file setup, cleanup, and formatting across multiple tools and platforms used in learning development
  • Organize assets, links, references, and source files to ensure project materials are complete, current, and easy to access
  • Help package final deliverables so they are accurate, properly labeled, and ready for launch or client delivery
  • Maintain strong version control and file management practices across active projects
  • Partner closely with Strategists, Writers, Designers, Developers, and Project Managers to reduce friction and keep production work moving smoothly
  • Jump into active workstreams with confidence and contribute hands-on support wherever production help is needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, streamline manual tasks, and strengthen production standards across the team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, learning and development, education, communications, digital media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in a production, eLearning, learning and development, or training support role
  • Experience working in a learning and development agency, training agency, or similarly fast-paced client services environment
  • Familiarity with eLearning development processes and the lifecycle of learning deliverables from kickoff through launch
  • Working knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate Rise and Storyline
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience preparing files for review, revision, translation, development, and final delivery
  • Strong attention to detail and a sharp eye for inconsistencies, formatting issues, and quality gaps
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accuracy and organization
  • Comfort working across multiple file types, tools, and handoffs in a collaborative agency environment
  • Enough experience and confidence to join a project at the start and contribute with minimal ramp-up
  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries is a plus
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards, localization workflows, and review or project management platforms is a plus
